1. Services
Torque Lab Ltd provides ECU remapping and related automotive tuning services on a mobile basis from our base in Greater Manchester, covering the North West. All work is carried out by qualified technicians using professional-grade equipment.
2. Vehicle suitability
It is the customer's responsibility to confirm their vehicle is mechanically sound and suitable for remapping. We reserve the right to refuse service if a vehicle fails pre-tuning diagnostics or presents a safety concern.
3. Warranty & liability
We supply a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on remapping services. This does not cover pre-existing mechanical faults, wear items, or damage caused by poor maintenance. Our liability is limited to the value of services provided.
4. Emissions & legal compliance
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle remains compliant with UK road traffic and emissions regulations. Remapping for off-road or track use only must be declared at the time of booking.
5. Payment & cancellation
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment may incur a call-out fee.
6. Data backup
An original ECU file backup is created before any modification. Customers may request a copy of this file at the time of service.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
