Is DPF delete legal in the UK?

No — not for road use. UK road vehicles must be constructed and maintained so they do not emit avoidable smoke or visible vapour, and emissions control equipment must remain effective for the vehicle’s use on public roads.1 Removing or disabling a DPF (or similar pollution control device) for UK road use is treated as illegal and can leave the vehicle unroadworthy; MOT testers also check for missing or tampered emissions equipment where required.2
